Thanks for visiting! This is the page for my ‘keep your mind active’ resources, featured below…for older adults living with concentration or memory challenges:
You’ve just seen some of my visitor books, friendship log books, memoir journals, an inspirational book, picture books with light verse, plus classic British and Australian poetry collections (others coming soon!): you can see all the different covers on my Unforgettable Notes Amazon author page…(click on ‘all books’ when you reach the page). My copyright/disclaimer information is here.)
Below are the Let’s Focus on Puzzles books: activity books for older adults who are living with mild cognitive impairment, mild dementia, in stroke rehab, or just having difficulties concentrating.
They look like standard large print puzzle books (with no mention of dementia or other illness anywhere in the book). The difference is that the activities, while fun and familiar, are more bite-sized and achievable.
You can find Let’s Focus on Puzzles Book 1, Let’s Focus on Puzzles Book 2 and Let’s Focus on Puzzles Book 3 on Amazon.
If you’ve come for the free sample Let’s Focus on Puzzles activity book, you can find it in my Teachers Pay Teachers store, along with the Tips for Carers.
You’ll have to sign up to download it, but TPT is a fantastic, very reputable marketplace, where every seller has to have a free product. If you know an Activities Co-ordinator or Therapist that needs to make multiple copies of the puzzles, I also have a printable version of Let’s Focus on Puzzles Book 1. (Other books coming soon.)
If you’d like to get updates on new books, just leave your email address, directly below. I promise not to share it with anyone. Or follow me on my Amazon Unforgettable Notes page!
Tip: The main ‘pop-up’ subscription box on this site is for English language teachers or volunteers, but the one on this page is specifically for Unforgettable Notes!
The rest of this website is all about my English language resources, including ESL word puzzles.
As you might guess, I work in Adult Education, so for my Unforgettable Notes puzzle books, I consult with a wonderful Dementia Lifestyle Coordinator.
